Not to be confused with the 1988 film staring Mel Gibson, the Tequila Sunrise makes it debut on Amanda Bee as my first colorful cocktail! Historically served first (reportedly) at the Arizona Biltmore, the original Tequila Sunrise consisted of tequila, lime, grenadine and Crème de Cassis. The modern version, is a simple concoction of tequila, orange juice and grenadine layered and poured over ice. Next time you're out (or laying low), blast The Eagles on the jukebox and order yourself a hue-filled highball. #vivalatequilasunrise #drinkresponsibly
